LAND AND CLIMATE
Siliceous soil of schistous origin, stonier on the slopes, more sandy in the depressions.
Climate : it is influenced by the sea, Hyères harbour is only a few kilometers away.
Most of it is sloping with vines on trellis.
Average vine age: 20 years, Grape varieties for this wine:
Grenache 95%, Syrah 5%
THE WINE MAKING
Grape harvest is entirely by hand with on site grape sorting,
Stalk stripping and inerting of musts is immediate
upon entrance of the grapes into the cellar, Pressing is performed after a short maceration.
Temperature control is effective at all stages, with fermentation at a fixed 17°C.
Alcoholic strength 12.83%vol.
Bottled in bordeaux-type 75cl Mira Bottle, 44 x 24 TwinTop cork
with mise en Bouteille au Château marking,
own label, black capsule congé.
TASTING AND FOOD MATCHING
Pink marble hue. The nose is ethereal with fruity and floral notes: blood peach.
The mouth is harmonious with a robust freshness for a start it then develops into
full bodied aromas with a round and persistent ending.
